I am glad that I engaged AG Consulting for getting second unit permit at my basement. I want to tell you a little history. Actually, I spent money to get my permit done earlier by some other company, but they proposed concrete stairway from backyard. I already have an existing side entrance door but they said it can’t be used as main entry and exit for second unit in basement. Then I approached Abijit of AG Consulting and after reviewing my existing condition, he said it is possible. He revised the drawings and got my permit from City of Brampton showing side door entrance as main entry instead of concrete stairway. This actually saved me thousands of dollars and I am very happy with his work. He has a clear knowledge and understanding of all the requirements for second unit permits.
