We are a building design company that provides services for getting building permits from any municipality within Ontario. Founded by Abijit (ABI) Ganguli, licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario. He has experience of more than 20 years in Canada for design and building of residential, commercial and industrial structures. Abi is a graduate Civil Engineer and has been helping clients for long time in getting their building permits from more than 25 municipalities across Ontario . He has a vast knowledge of all the municipal by-laws, zoning regulations and Ontario Building Code (OBC) requirements.
He steers the whole process of building permit by responding promptly all the inquiries from plan examiners, during review stage to make sure a seamless permit process is achieved.

We specialize in getting permits for Legal Basements for rental purposes. We also expertize in providing services for any building renovations, additions and modifications. Our services include Architectural and Structural drawings, Site Plan, Floor Plans and preparing all other relevant drawings and documents required for getting permits from City. We also submit Zoning and Building Permit application to City on behalf of our clients.

Our services start from taking measurements, preparation of AutoCAD drawings, permit application and follow up until we receive formal Permit from City. Our service does not stop at building permits only, but we have our associated contractors that can complete the construction for the projects as well. We are a fully certified and insured company and all our drawings are sealed by Professional Engineers (P.Eng.) in Ontario.

I am glad that I engaged AG Consulting for getting second unit permit at my basement. I want to tell you a little history. Actually, I spent money to get my permit done earlier by some other company, but they proposed concrete stairway from backyard. I already have an existing side entrance door but they said it can’t be used as main entry and exit for second unit in basement. Then I approached Abijit of AG Consulting and after reviewing my existing condition, he said it is possible. He revised the drawings and got my permit from City of Brampton showing side door entrance as main entry instead of concrete stairway. This actually saved me thousands of dollars and I am very happy with his work. He has a clear knowledge and understanding of all the requirements for second unit permits.
